Thoughts on psychic ability and psychokinesis?

Every area of magick has liars, larpers and charlatans, and psychokinesis is no different, hell, perhaps it is even the biggest offender.

Even still, there are many who believe that abilities such as telekinesis and pyrokinesis are real. What do you guys think, and if you think them not to be real, what other psychic abilities do you believe in, if that?

Technically speaking those abilities can't be ruled out with certainty since science doesn't deal with certain knowledge, but unlike the more subtle arts psychokinesis is categorically not permissible under known physics, chemistry and biology. Relatedly, no successful attempt was ever recorded and no reliable method was ever made known to public. Though I would gladly be proven wrong, there simply seems no reason to believe those tricks ever actually work.

Couldn't you say this about literally any other field of magick? Or are you a skeptic completely?

The only form of "psychokinesis" that exists is altering information. You can't make pens roll across desks with your mind.

inexperienced, unqualified cynics masquerading as offended authorities.

Not even close.
Lying and larping about being informed through implication by speaking hyperbolically on areas of magick is a more common offense.

Having experienced poltergeist events where telekinesis has occurred has required my model of reality to expand to include such things.
Experiments are ongoing for creating mass events.

No, I couldn't, that's the thing. There is no science possible at current point to measure how subtle or potent memetic phenomena can really get, and that's only the most promising of avenues. I'd say I'm a skeptic of most theories but relatively few practices and experiences.

I had to include that first section because you get pelted with rocks if you even mention the word telekinesis in most occult circles, but okay. And how am I speaking hyperbolically? Have you ever been in any psychokinesis circles? Half the proof videos is people swinging their arms at pieces of foil and then going "oh em gee telekinesis!!!!", and dont even get me started on the people trying to sell you something. I dont know a more fraudulent community. Despite this, I'm not some skeptic going "people are lying about this so its FAKE!"

Again I literally just included that so people dont go "Heh..... Don't you know this is all people scamming you with telekinesis courses?"
You can acknowledge there are a lot of scammers within a practice while still not diminishing it's legitimacy. Divination as a whole is also full of charlatans but that doesn't mean its fake

I have often thought that at least some poltergeist activity is a product of telekinesis albeit the originator being unaware that they are the source.
I have over the course of my long life witnessed 5 definite poltergeist activities.
The last two involved the presence of a young girl 4/5 years old.
We were under a blanket on the sofa watching a winter Sunday afternoon kids movie. We heard a loud scuffing noise and both tuned towards it at the same time. 6 large framed photographs had turned through 45 degrees on a solid wall. The pictures were all perfectly still and at exactly the same angle almost as if the house had been turned at 45 degrees!
We paused the movie and got off the sofa and crossed the room to look more closely.
Eventually I straightened the photos, made myself a cup of tea (l’m British) and poured some orange squash for the little one.
I can not explain this in any way other than poltergeist activity.
About 7 or 8 months later in the same room, we were at the dining table. Her mother was just plating up our lunch.
Suddenly from the opposite end of the room a number of large books on deep low bookshelves literally launched themselves across the room (about 22 ft /6m long ) falling about 6 foot away from us. Her mother turned saw us sat ready at the table just maybe 5 feet away from where she was standing in the kitchen, she came into the room looked around and asked what the hell was going on. Simultaneously we replied “poltergeist!”
Even though she is a totally sceptical person, she KNEW we could not have done it. She sold up and moved house. I have visited them in their new house and whilst the little girl says “polty moved too” her mother has nothing to report - yet. I believe the little girl is the unwitting source of the telekinesis.

I am sure that there are a few people who may naturally have the ability. I also think that around the World scientists are working on this and if they get a good subject and can feedback to them in real-time their successful telekinetic power even with the smallest almost undetectable movements then they can only improve.

Psychokinesis is about the influence of currents. Its focus is on manipulating subtle currents, it’s not about levitating or throwing things around at all.

By understanding how currents flow and interact, you gain the knowledge and ability to adjust them for specific outcomes. For example, you can use psychokinesis to even influence your own current to heighten your sensitivity and give yourself a boost in spiritual hearing.

Another example of influencing your own current is that you will be able to control powers of your own character, behavior, action and interaction with others.

I have seen someone who was able to manipulate fire that already existed. Not sure if it would technically be considered psychokinesis but its at least a similar field. I am unsure on telekinesis, but if it is real its likely a minor phenomena.

I misread and thought this was about pyrokinesis

Let me tell you what i think on telekinesis it is impossible telekinesis affect things directly what many believe but telekinesis affect passively for example if you command your brain to bring the cup from the table to the chair directly the cup not stand by itself and goes to the chair but passively later someone may brimg that cup from the table to the chair
