Daoist talismans are considered to be one of the most powerful magical tools a sorcerer can possess. In ancient China talismans were known
as Fu (meaning "symbol") or Fu Zhou, (meaning "magic symbol"). Talismans are magical charms that contain the concentrated energy of the sorcerer's focused intention (i.e .. feelings, beliefs, thoughts, and desire), cultivated psychic powers, which are magically fused with the supernatural powers of an invoked spirit entity. It is the sorcerer's focused intention that determines if the concentrated energy contained within the magic talisman is to be used for either good or evil purposes.
