Foolish fish mentioned in on of his videos that the books of Gallery of Magick are protected and won't work if stolen. I have mixed success with some of the books even I bought them...sometimes just it doesn't work

Hi everyone! It is said that Damon Brand's books from the Gallery of Magick are protected by a curse. How come ? Does that mean if I download the book for free on internet the content will not work for me ?
