Earlier this week I was casually looking outside my front door and noticed this bird (magpie) perched on my neighbour's low level rooftop. An orange cat with distinct orange hues was approaching it. Naturally, the bird was spooked and flew away.

About 4 days later, I was looking out again for no specific reason, mostly practising mindfulness , but on this occasion , the vantage point was from my upstairs window facing my back yard.
I saw a magpie again (could've been the same one, or perhaps another) , but it's now perched on top of a slanted piece of wood. And low and behold, an orange cat with orange hues, comes out of nowhere, now stealthily crawling up the piece of wood , attempting to pounce on the bird. But yet again the bird was somewhat alerted, evaded and flew away.

I'm tempted to brush it all of of as pure coincidence. However I have since had this weird curious lingering feeling, that it was orchestrated somehow.
Assuming it was, I couldn't narrow down its specific meaning.

Has anyone, particularly the occultists among us , experienced these sort of situations before, and could it carry some kind of omen or sign or meaning at all ?

Synchronicity is randomised magic. If there was no magical intent involved from you, then stuff can manifest from your subconscious and have a meaning for you, but doesn't necessarily have any importance.

I'd say that because you were in a meditative state the second time, your subconscious was in a position to manifest. Because there was no actual magical intent, what you got was a repeat of the earlier event.

I see certain members of my community more often than I should given the size of the community. There is also a cat that goes into our backyard when it doesn't live there. It's all part of everything being controlled and us living in a simulation.

I find it all really fascinating. It's low level magic, manifestations that are reminding you of a previous time. I like to think these things are a hint at what's to come in the day, but that's just how it feels to me.

The feeling of an event being "orchestrated" is classic synchronicity; even if it's just the natural behavioral pattern of a local stray cat hunting the neighborhood birds, witnessing the exact same sequence play out across two completely different vantage points naturally forces the mind to look for a symbolic or matrix-like loop in reality.

I dont see why it would even be synchronous . If I observe nature I am sure to see repeat events time and time again . The orange cat will return and seek the bird . The bird will return and now keep its eye out for the orange cat ... and fly away when it feels threatened .

Can anyone explain to me reasonably why this is a 'weird synchronicity ' ? ? ?

The other thing with this is .... a magpie ; they can do remarkable things that will really get you thinking ... much more than just twice being there and avoiding a cat .

here is just one example ; many years back , my GF made a new altar in her bedroom , she had a bed / mattress on the floor so the altar was at low level just above the floor level. She finished setting it up, put flowers , lit incense . The front door was open , a magpie flew in landed, walked through the living room into the bedroom, up to the altar and stood there looking at it . It was not really interested in us , rejected a food offering ... nope , just the altar . Magpie checked it out for a bit, then walked back to the lounge room and flew off out the door .
